Living Marine Resources Program 2022 Annual Report

Posted on July 19, 2023

The LMR annual report provides an overview of the program’s mission, history and process, updates on all the projects we oversee and a list of the publications that became available during the year.

The report includes summary updates on the 32 projects in our 2022 portfolio. These include eight new projects, 19 ongoing projects and five projects that were completed during 2022. These projects, which provide data for risk assessment, new monitoring technologies, effective data management methods and more, are critical to ensuring the Navy can meet its environmental compliance needs and maintain training.

In addition to project updates, the report provides citations for 17 professional publications issued through the year. These are listed in the LMR Publications section near the end of the report. A comprehensive list of publications is now available in a spreadsheet on our website under the Publication tab. The spreadsheet is updated with each issue of our newsletter, LMR News, and can be downloaded.

We remain focused on our fundamental mission to support the Navy’s ability to conduct uninterrupted at-sea training and testing, which preserves core Navy readiness capabilities.
