The first annual technical review meeting for marine species monitoring projects in the Hawaii Range Complex (HRC) took place on 17 October 2014 in Honolulu, HI with over 25 attendees from the Navy and scientific community. The meeting provided an opportunity for scientists to update the Navy and share with other scientists information on their progress as well as preliminary data and results. Additionally, the meeting served as a forum for identifying and discussing potential synergistic and collaborative opportunities which may improve monitoring in the Hawaii Range Complex. All of the current monitoring projects that are funded by Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet in HRC were represented and addressed the progress that has been made towards addressing monitoring objectives.
